You do not have to do everything alone on this Earth, even if it sometimes feels like that. There is always a greater force guiding you somehow. I never believed in this until I sank to the bottom of my heart, literally lying flat on my kitchen floor because I felt so broken.
It happened after a tough break-up that exposed all my childhood wounds. I had deeply fallen in love with someone representing my core issues, and the knowledge of that had shattered me.
How could I have experienced such a deep connection with someone who ultimately broke me? It turned out, though, that he didn’t break me at all.
He brought me back to myself.
The Universe doesn’t play games
Sometimes in your life, you meet people who change everything. But not before you are ready. Your Soul has to reach a certain maturity to deal with it. Because those people are no easy feat.
They mirror you completely. They expose all your wounds. They break you down, so you have no other choice but to go inwards.
That happened to me on that kitchen floor. I felt like I had lost everything I thought I was. I didn’t enjoy traveling anymore, plus I had stopped drinking and partying, and I was surrounded by the wrong friends.
Losing that person was the ultimate act that tipped my bucket.

But right there on that floor, something curious happened. I felt like I had lost my identity and didn’t know where to go or what to do. But the Universe then whispered: “Now you can build yourself up again”.
