If you had asked me five years ago if I believed in destiny, I would have laughed at you. I was very down-to-earth, did not believe in any otherworldly forces, and thought everything was just a coincidence.
How arrogant to think that we, humans, mean something in our massive Universe! I thought we were just a grain of sand in the desert, not having any impact or predestined plan. Our whole existence, according to me, was just a funny play of evolution and the Big Bang that caused some cells to interact with each other and create life.
Nothing to feel special about, right? But I couldn’t be more wrong.
