I believe that before we come to Earth, significant moments that will happen in our lives are already planned. If this sounds crazy to you, bear with me. I also believed for a very long time that everything is a coincidence and there is no ‘higher power’ orchestrating our lives.
But too many unexplainable things happened to me to keep believing that thought. And, to be honest, believing that there is a Universe guiding us made my life so much easier and more pleasant.
Now I know that everything happens for a reason. Everything that has an impact on us is meant to make us grow.
Relationships are our ultimate mirrors
As soon as we are born, we are part of a relationship. If it’s not with your own parents, it’s with the people who take care of us. These early relationship experiences shape how we will love as adults.
If our childhood relationships were chaotic, we will subconsciously search for that in our romantic partners as well. These types of relationships can be extremely challenging because they are meant to make us grow.
They are meant to expose us to our early attachment wounds, so we can heal our own patterns. Often, those relationships are karmic and come to help us release old stuff.
The key is to learn from them and to let go when the time is right.
When the old Self dies
Those relationships are no coincidence. You signed a contract with that Soul before you came to Earth. You were going to meet them at some point, no matter what. The Universe made your paths cross, and all your previous decisions led up to that (the ‘Butterfly Effect’).
And when you meet, there is an incredible force at play that can’t keep you away from them. That is because we attract the same people as the frequency we send out.
When you are meant to learn some lessons, those lessons will come with those challenging relationships.
The result is that your old Self starts to die.
This is a sacred process. Everything you thought you once knew starts to fade away. You are being stripped of the old version of you to let the new one come in.
