This is exactly where the ocean meets the sun for me.
I don’t believe there is one single soulmate assigned to each person. I believe we encounter people who meet us at different points in our evolution, and the work we do within ourselves, especially the shadow work...prepares us for the connections we are meant to experience.
Some connections are meant to grow with us. Some are meant to challenge us. Some are meant to reveal parts of ourselves we hadn't yet confronted. And some are simply meant to complete a particular chapter.
Whatever is meant to evolve will evolve. And when that cycle ends, we don't necessarily start over from scratch. We carry what we learned, recycle the shadow work of that encounter, integrate it into who we've become, and bring that growth into the next connection.
Maybe that's the real cycle of life: meet, evolve, learn, release, integrate, and love again, not necessarily the same way, but more consciously.
Okay. Now I'm angry. You so nailed this. We are apart for now. But, yes there is a but, it is not finished. We both know but the obstacles grow. Hey, thanks for the hope.
Imma share something vulnerable here. I just lost the man I’ve loved the most out of my whole life (yet) and I’m trying to figure out if it is a closed chapter. Because the way things ended, he asked for an out but he was contradictory in everything he was saying. He said he wanted us, but has kinda moved on (we were apart for 2 months), but also seeing us in the future together while not wanting or being able to invest energy into our relationship right now because he has so much more going on for himself and had so much healing to do from things in the past. We both hurted eachother in a lot of ways but I truly felt like it was true love. I want to move on but at the same time my brain can’t close this because of all the contradictions
Thanks for sharing this :) I had a similar experience and it was very hard to accept that our timing just didn’t align. But I truly believe that the Universe separates people for a reason, either to come back stronger together or because something different is waiting for you… accepting that is a whole journey though and wishing you all the best on it!
I've had three, one showed me i was loved, one showed me i needed to love and meet myself, one i could rest and be myself with. All changed me somehow.
